The Faith of Islam or The Heresy of Islam?

Islam makes the claim that "Islam...is the only faith and way of life consistently revealed by God to humankind from the very beginning. ... Islam is the culmination of the same Divine religion of God to humankind since the advent of humanity, purged and purified, from all human adulterations and restored to its original purity. Since there was to be no messenger after 'Prophet' Muhammed (pbuh), the 'Book' revealed to him (i.e. the "Glorious Qu'ran") was preserved word for word so that it should be the same source of guidance for all times..."

But can Islam prove these claims? The answer is no. The Qu'ran is mutually self-contradictory. While one part of it says one thing, another part says quite another. Therefore, its text spreads confusion and untruths. Islam denies historical events that historians have clearly documented, such as, the crucifixion of Christ Jesus (Sura 4.157), and both denies and affirms the Prophetical witness of Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, and Jesus Christ.

Sura 4.163 states: "We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms." By this verse, a "Muslim" would be completely justified in acknowledging the genuine Christian Faith; but, elsewhere the Qu'ran contradicts this verse in Sura 5.17, 5.72, 5.75, 9.30, 9.31. Yet, Sura 5.46 contradicts all that is said in Sura 5.17, 5.72, 5.75, 9.30, 9.31 as follows: Sura 5.46: "And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear God." Thus Islam approves of the Gospel of John, Chapter 1, verse 1, et seq. In what verse of the Qu'ran is the Muslim supposed to place his trust? Also, by following a course of action contrary to the Holy Gospels, how can Divine Justice be satisfied by any other means than by judging the sinner who died without Christ Jesus? Flee from the Heresy of Islam as fast as your legs will carry you. There is no truth to be found in writings that contain contradictions of manifest proportions.

Here is what the Qur'an has to say about Jesus:

In Sura 2: Baqara, or the Heifer, Section 10:

87. We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?--Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!

In Sura 2: Baqara, or the Heifer, Section 16

136. Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."

Sura 3: Al-i-?Imran, or the Family of ?Imran, Section 5:

42. Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.

43. "O Mary! worship Thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down."

44. This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger.) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).

45. Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.

Yet, as you know, the Qur'an denies Christ later in its text. Please take note that when a text is frought with contradictions, it is impossible to trust it. Please read this with agape in your heart and pick up the Holy Bible, and specifically the Holy New Testament. This is the Gospel which Allah was said to have presented to the world through Christ Jesus. So, how can the Qur'an later deny what Allah said to his people about the Christ???

There is no legitimate reason to accept the Qur'an as authentic.

It is generally accepted that Mohammed is the author of the Qur'an. (But hotly disputed by many). No one really knows. How can we know if he really wrote the words of Allah or if he created passages himself? Who has the authority to vouch that no errors have crept into the Qur'an over time? Who tells men to believe in the Qur'an? To what authority can these men appeal? Islam has no priests, no pope or head Muslim, no official institution to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of the Qur'an and its teachings, no authority to say that the Qur'an is inspired. They have their teachers-leaders (imams) and their recorded traditions, but who is to say they are not engineered? Mohammed cannot guarantee to men that he is telling the truth about the Qur'an. He founded no lasting institution, and he himself did not even name a successor.

Satan does not like the Christ because the Christ brings True Salvation to all peoples who believe in Him. If Adam and Eve were made in the image and likeness of God as reported in Genesis, then how could it be impossible for God to be incarnate and live among us with true Agape? Please think about these things and write to Father Daniel.
